Modern Quilt Guild Visit

A group of us visited the Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild on Saturday for a peek into the latest trend in quilting.  The ladies had wonderful shown-n-tell.  Below are Ami's blocks...

The pieces were fresh and contemporary and most of them were made with solid fabrics.  Lovely!

Speaking of lovely, we also visited the amazing A Scarlet Thread in McDonough, GA.  Karen and her husband have created the most amazing quilt and sewing shop I have ever seen!   If you happen to be on I-75 south of Atlanta, look for their billboard and follow the directions to a truly beautiful, very welcoming and full service quilt shop.
